UI/UX Designer

As a UI/UX product designer, you will design and shape unique, user-centric products and experiences. You will have experience working in agile teams, with developers, UX designers and product strategists.

You will be able to make deliberate design decisions and to translate any given user-experience journey into a smooth and intuitive interaction.

Responsibilities

  • Creation of engaging, innovative, and measurable digital experiences (through sketches, UI design, brand materials and other design artefacts).
  • Translate customer and business insights into memorable digital experiences.
  • Validate UI designs using a variety of techniques, from ad hoc testing through to formal usability studies.
  • Crafting style guides and setting the design direction for projects.
    Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and user scenarios.
  • Initiate fresh ideas and translate them into wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that lead to an intuitive user experience.
  • Prepare sketches, diagrams, illustrations, and layouts to communicate design concepts.
  • Gauge the usability of new and existing products and make constructive suggestions for change.
  • Work closely with other teams throughout the development of new products or features.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator and other design and wireframing software.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping of websites and apps.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of trends and techniques in design, UI and UX.
  • 2+ years experience in UI/UX design (Agency experience highly valued)
  • Experience designing mobile and web products through the complete lifecycle.
  • An exceptional portfolio of proven UI and UX experience, Mobile and web design projects demonstrating a fine eye for detail.
  • A deep understanding of standards and best practices for iOS, Android and web (Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and Google Material Design)
  • Ability to conduct end-to-end UX research, including usability testing and A/B testing.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
